The "Throwdown Elite Training Center" is opening June 2008 in Orem, Utah. "Throwdown Elite" is the largest, state-of-the-art alternative training center in the world with over 22,000 square feet of top-of-the- line equipment, fitness and self-defense courses available to every member.

"Throwdown" began as a fitness equipment and mixed martial arts (MMA) apparel manufacturer in 1999. As the popularity of MMA grew, so did the vision of having a universal fitness center that would appeal to elite MMA athletes, as well as the individual looking to learn self-defense and all-around physical and mental wellness.

The Orem location is the first of its kind and the prototype for "Throwdown Elite Training Centers" to be replicated throughout the country.

"Throwdown Elite" is the leader in a lternative fitness and self-defense, offering world-class instruction in Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Yoga, and Pilates--all under the same roof for no additional cost to its members.

"Throwdown Elite" has Utah County's only heated yoga facility, altitude chamber, vibration platform, kettle bell and CrossFit courses, Vertimax platforms, high-speed treadmills, spin bikes, VersaClimbers, rowing machines, and Aerodyne bikes.

"Throwdown Elite" offers personal training-style workouts without the personal training price. Take as many classes as you'd like and pay nothing more than the low, monthly membership cost.

Regardless of where you are on the fitness scale, "Throwdown Elite" can get you to where you want to be. "Throwdown Elite's" focus is not building big muscles; it is helping individuals achieve a level of fitness they did not believe was possible.

For peo ple who sign up before June 21, they will receive a one-year membership for only $50 a month. After June 21, the price will go up an additional $30 a month.
